Offline and online advertising


Advertising is the attempt to influence the buying behaviour of customers or clients with a persuasive selling message about products and/or services. In business, the goal of advertising is to attract new customers by defining the target audience and reaching out to them with an effective ad campaign. We divide advertising into two main categories: online and offline.

The biggest advantage of online advertising is the measurability of advertising results, while with traditional offline advertising this is almost impossible.

In the last few years, advertising through online channels has been used more and more precisely because today potential customers spend their time online on social networks, portals, etc. Creating ads is only one part of online advertising. Another part that is even more important is tracking the analytics of those ads and campaigns. Based on these results, changes are made or the budget is regulated.

We may notice that most advertising moves online, but that doesn’t mean offline advertising no longer yields results. Offline advertising currently requires a lot more strategy than it did 20 years ago, but it can still bring great results if implemented well.
